Dr Craig Holdstock is a Hyperbaric Physician and an Anaesthetic ST6 currently undertaking an Advanced Fellowship in Cardiothoracic Anaesthesia. Dr Lizzie Freeman is a Hyperbaric Physician and a CT1 Acute Care Common Stem currently working in Acute Medicine.
Both doctors support DDRC Healthcare by providing on-call support treatment for emergencies in hyperbaric medicine in order to provide the 24/7 service.
The doctors attended the Association of Anaesthetists Annual Congress in Glasgow. Acceptance and short-listing of the doctors poster re: Vascular Gas Embolism, demonstrated the clinical importance of emergency hyperbaric treatment. The conference was hosted over 3 days in Glasgow with approximately 1,000 delegates.
