IOSH Conference 2018

DDRC Healthcare Operations Director, Peter Atkey, recently attended the annual Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) conference in Birmingham.

Why is it important to attend the IOSH conference?

Peter explains:

“I always find the IOSH conference useful, even though the subjects may not always appear exactly relevant to us at DDRC Healthcare, there is always something pertinent to all workplaces. As with previous years, there was an exhibition of health and safety equipment and services enabling me to pick up interesting information. By attending I remain up to date with current thinking and that means our staff and customers can in turn be confident in the continued safety of our systems.”

This all ties in with our wider organisational focus on maintaining high quality standards and accreditation from key bodies and institutions.
