Susan trained as both an adult and children’s nurse in London in the 1980’s. She has worked in a variety of roles including clinical, management and clinical research in both the NHS and voluntary sectors, including as Director of Services for CLIC, (now CLIC Sargent) for 11 years. Susan returned to the NHS in 2012 initially working as a clinical research nurse and most recently, was working at Bristol Royal Children’s Hospital, as Lead Clinical Nurse Specialist in paediatric dermatology.
Susan studied for an MA at the University of Glamorgan Business School graduating in 2003.
Susan is a keen gardener, runner, boat enthusiast, diving/snorkelling instructor and a member of Plymouth Sound Divers sub aqua club.
