Doug Watts joined DDRC in 2017 as a Senior Doctor.
He is a GP and, prior to joining DDRC, worked for the Royal Marines as a Civilian GP. During his GP training he completed his PADI Divemaster and worked as a medic on dive expeditions in Central America.
He is an Approved Doctor (AD) for the MCA, Approved Medical Examiner of Divers (AMED) for the HSE, a UKDMC Sport diver Referee and an OGUK doctor.
Doug has additional roles as Clinical Lead for HBOT for NHS England and as Chair of the British Hyperbaric Association. He also continues to work clinically as a GP.
