Ron was a serving member of the armed forces for twenty five years. On leaving the military he became a driving instructor and following this trained to be a self employed trainer in First Aid and Driver Training. This has led to Ron being a volunteer First Responder for the South West Ambulance Service.
Ron has a varied role within DDRC Healthcare, he is our First Aid and Offshore Coordinator as well as carrying out duties as a Training Officer and Assessor on many of our courses.
Ron’s teaching qualifications include: First Aid & AED Instructor: Medical Gas Instructor: Manual Handling Instructor: Medicine Management Trainer: Link Trainer Blood glucose Monitoring: Driving Standards Agency Driving Instructor: Driving Standards Agency Fleet Trainer: Road Safety Officer.
Ron is a Fellow of the Association of Road Safety Officers, he holds an Institute of Advanced Motorists Masters Certificate and is an Associte Member of the College of Paramedics and is a Level 3 Member of The Faculty of Pre Hospital Care , Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh .
Ron’s interests are varied but include Motor Sport, driving, caravanning, walking, swimming and all things medical.
