Mary-Ann was born in Edinburgh and spent her childhood and early teens in Scotland. She then moved to Devon with her family in 1996.
Mary-Ann first worked for DDRC Healthcare between 2005 and 2006, as a chamber attendant, whilst attending the University of Plymouth, where she read and attained a BSc (Hons) in Human Biosciences. After graduation, she relocated to Scotland to be closer to family.
Having always been interested in diving, Mary-Ann secured a job with Subsea 7 as firstly a tender, then Assistant Life Support Technician and finally an IMCA recognised Life Support Technician. She spent over 8 years offshore in the oil and gas industry.
Having decided to return to Devon, Mary-Ann started back at DDRC Healthcare as a member of the chamber team bank staff. She is now a fully DDRC Healthcare qualified chamber attendant, chamber operator, medical technician and training officer. She is hoping to have completed her Supervisor training by 2018.
