The First Response Emergency Care (FREC) Level 3 Certificate must be refreshed every 3 years and learners must retake the qualification before the certificate expiry date in order to remain qualified. This course can also be attended by people who already work in pre-hospital and remote environments and who posses a suitable qualification that can be converted to a FREC Level 3 Certificate (see prerequisites below for details).
This Ofqual regulated pre-hospital care qualification is ideal for those who have a specific responsibility to respond to emergency situations. The qualification is approved by Qualsafe Awards (the UK’s largest Awarding Organisation for first aid qualifications) and is clinically endorsed by The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh - Faculty of Pre-Hospital Care (FPHC).
