Kathryn has a strong background of Third Sector working in Communications, Marketing, PR and Fundraising roles. Her working life began at BBC SW as a News Transmission Assistant before moving to the charity sector. Here she worked for St Luke’s Hospice and Groundwork South West.
Kathryn studied for her BA(Hons) degree in Media Studies/English as a mature student whilst bringing up 3 children.
Kathryn is a member of the Plymouth Philharmonic Choir and is passionate about the positive development of Plymouth as a National Marine Park.
