An Introduction to Wound Care Day Tuesday 25th September 2018

This one day event is aimed at community nurses and care workers who would like an introduction to wound healing and dressing choice. Bookings can be taken for the whole day or for am or pm only.

 – £30pp

Aim: To give an overview of wound healing, identification of infection, when to refer or call for specialist help and case studies.

Aim: Introduction to the formulary and how to select the correct dressing.

The event is being held at Plymouth Science Park, on Tuesday 25th September. Free parking is available to course participants and bus services to the area are excellent.

Specialist Tissue Viability Nurse Ali Bishop from DDRC Wound Care said;

“We have designed this one day event specifically to provide practical and up-to-date advice to a range of workers such as Health Care Assistants (HCAs), Community Nurses, Practice Nurses, Health Visitors and Ward Nurses.”
