The DDRC First Aid Package consists of all the elements you will need to act as an integral part of your dive team:
- Health & Safety Executive First Aid at Work
- Divers Alert Network Oxygen administration
- Diving Accident Management Review
The course covers effective planning for and prevention of accidents around a diving operation. Some time is spent in and around our hyperbaric unit, allowing participants the opportunity to familiarise themselves with recompression therapy and the use of a modern hyperbaric chamber.
The contents of this course fulfill the minimum requirement for the provision of first aid, including the administration of oxygen, at a diving site under the 1997 Diving at Work Regulations. This is applicable to both recreational and commercial divers.
Prerequisites: Recognised recreational or commercial diving qualification.
