The DSAT Gas Blender program will allow participants to become competent and qualified gas blenders, able to produce a range of gas mixtures regularly used by recreational and technical divers. The course covers such subjects as oxygen cleaning and compatibility, properties of oxygen and its associated hazards, oxygen compatible air and current gas blending methods.
The goal of the course is to enable participants to produce any desired nitrogen/oxygen, helium/oxygen or trimix gas.
Prerequisites: 18 years of age and hold an enriched air qualification.
