The DDRC Basic Hyperbaric Medicine Course has been reviewed and approved by the National Board of Diving and Hyperbaric Medical Technology as an introduction to Hyperbaric Medicine. It also includes the Transcutaneous Oxygen Monitoring (TCOM) module as required by NBDHMT. It is able to be used towards gaining the Certified Hyperbaric Technologist (CHT) qualification.
Persons interested in this course will include registered nurses, licensed vocational nurses, certified nurses aides, medical assistants, therapists, chamber technicians, physician assistants, diving medical technicians, corpsmen, physiologists, emergency medical technicians, paramedics, respiratory therapists, medical services specialists, researchers, and physicians involved in the delivery of undersea, hyperbaric and aviation medicine, and related research activities.
