We always welcome visitors to DDRC, whether ex-patient, “friend” and supporter or just curious, just give us a call and we will arrange a mutually convenient time to have a chat and show you around the centre.
If you know of a group of people who would be interested to learn more about what we do and how we do it, then we can offer a more structured “Talk and Tour”. Having welcomed your group to the centre we will give them a talk (audio visual presentation) about what we do and then take them for a tour of the facility and our chamber complex. The whole event lasts about two hours and is free of charge.
Maximum group size is 20 and we can accommodate groups in the daytime or evening with sufficient notice. We will tailor our presentation and tour to address the interests of particular groups. With divers, for example, we will include the latest on decompression illness (DCI) and reinforce good first aid practice.
