 Divers can safely experience pressurisation in one of DDRC’s compression chambers as a component of one of the many commercial and recreational courses we offer or as a module in their HSE professional diver training with an external diver training company.
DDRC currently has arrangements with a number of organisations and companies in the UK to provide the compression chamber elements of HSE professional diver training for their students. For more information on this service please contact one of our training officers.
For recreational divers the PADI Recompression Chamber Awareness distinctive specialty provides a better understanding of compression chambers and how they are used in the treatment of DCI. This one day course includes a pressurisation to 40msw in one of our chambers. The syllabus also covers first aid for DCI and rapid neurological assessment. |
