Scuba Santas 2013 fun & fundraising for RNLI & DDRC Healthcare
Diving enthusiasts from across the country gathered for the 7th annual Scuba Santas fundraising event which took place at the National Diving Activities Centre (NDAC) near Chepstow.
Over ninety divers enjoyed the opportunity to dress up as Santa and take part in a group dive in the waters of the NDAC quarry.
The festive fun was in support of DDRC and the RNLI whose mascot, Stormy Stan, set off the proceedings.
Once out of the water, divers gathered for hot chocolate, mince pies and the raffle for which many generous prizes had been donated. The main prize, donated by Fleet Dive, was a week long dive holiday in the Costa Brava.
This festive and colourful event not only provides an opportunity for divers to get together but also raises much needed funds for DDRC Healthcare and the RNLI.
