Diving Medicals
DDRC is able to provide a full range of diving and offshore occupational medicals please find details of medical examinations available below.
Commercial Divers and Offshore Workers
DDRC doctors are Health and Safety Executive 'Appointed Medical Examiners of Divers' (AMED) under the 'Diving At Work Regulations 1997' and are also approved by Oil and Gas UK to undertake topside medicals (formerly UKOOA). If you require a Norwegian medical please state this at time of booking and this can be arranged.
Recreational Divers
If you need fitness to dive advice, download and complete the Self Declaration Sports Divers Medical Form from the UK Sport Diving Medical Committee website and submit it along with a £10 donation to the address below. Please provide a clear description of your medical problems and the background medical history of this problem(s). The medical team will then get back in touch with you to help resolve the issue. It may be recommended that you proceed to having a recreational diving medical examination. Please be aware that this can take a good deal of time and therefore should not be left to the last minute.
If you need a recreational diving medical or asthma stress test please contact DDRC and ask to speak to the medical secretary.
