Fundraisers Visit DDRC

On Saturday 28 November 2009, more than 20 representatives from the member clubs of the Kernow Federation of Dive Clubs met at the DDRC Plymouth to plan their 2010 event.
The Kernow Dive Festival in Penzance on 20 & 21 June 2009 raised £2400 from registration fees, a raffle and other very generous support from the diving trade, clubs and individuals. The organisers are also very grateful for the support of Neil Clarke, Penzance Harbour Master.
After a talk from Tim Mockridge, a member of the DDRC training team, about how to reduce the risk of decompression illness (DCI) and what to do when it is suspected, there was a tour of the facility and compression chambers.

Dave White then presented a cheque for £2400 to Tim Mockridge (Training Team) and Ria Fox-Brown (DDRC Centre Manager).
