DDRC Welsh Unit to move to Spire Hospital in Cardiff

DDRC has been operating the South Wales Hyperbaric Medical Centre at St Joseph’s Hospital in Newport for the last two years; in that time the demand for the service has been increasing.  The unit in Newport had one Monoplace (single occupant) chamber and this can no longer cope with the demand.  Unfortunately the site in Newport was not big enough to allow another chamber to be installed necessitating a move to a larger facility.

DDRC CEO Karena Pring was recently invited to speak to Gordon Sparks on BBC Radio Devon’s morning breakfast show.
