By Road
When travelling from the East:
Take the M5 and then A38 to Plymouth. Take the A386 signposted to Tavistock.
Follow signs to Derriford Hospital and airport along Tavistock Road.
After approx 1 mile, take the third exit off Derriford Roundabout into Derriford Road and continue on this road past the hospital.
After passing Derriford Hospital take a right turn at the traffic lights into Davy Road (signposted Hyperbaric Medical Centre). Follow this road down the hill and DDRC is on the right hand side.
When travelling from the West/Cornwall:
After crossing the Tamar bridge into Devon, carry on the A38 towards Plymouth. Take the A386 signposted to Tavistock.
Follow signs to Derriford Hospital and airport along Tavistock Road.
After approx 1 mile, take the third exit off Derriford Roundabout into Derriford Road and continue on this road past the hospital.
After passing Derriford Hospital take a right turn at the traffic lights into Davy Road (signposted Hyperbaric Medical Centre). Follow this road down the hill and DDRC is on the right hand side.
From Tavistock:
Approach Plymouth on the A386. Take the first exit off Derriford Roundabout into Derriford Road (sign posted Derriford Hospital).
Continue on Derriford Road past the hospital. After passing Derriford Hospital take a right turn at the traffic lights into Davy Road (signposted Hyperbaric Medical Centre). Follow this road down the hill and DDRC is on the right hand side.

Please note, satellite navigation and internet mapping systems will often route you via Blunts Lane when traveling to DDRC. While it is possible to use Blunts Lane it is a rough single track road and you may be better following the directions above.
DDRC via Rail:
Plymouth railway station offers a high speed rail link to many parts of the UK, including London (approx 3h 30mins), Birmingham (approx 3h 30mins) and Penzance (approx 2h). The rail station is close to the centre of Plymouth and transfer to DDRC can be made by public bus or taxi. Taxis are normally available for hire outside the station.
DDRC via Bus:
DDRC is served by buses going to Tamar Science Park and Derriford Hospital (a short walk away from DDRC). Derriford Hospital is the second busiest bus terminal in Plymouth and timetables can be obtained from First Stop at the Civic Centre, from public libraries and from First Bus and Citybus travel shops in the Plymouth area. Alternatively you can call Traveline on 0871 200 2233.
DDRC via Air:
Following the closure of Plymouth airport in 2011, Plymouth is now served by the regional airports at Exeter and Newquay, both are approximately 50 miles from DDRC.
DDRC via Ferry:
Brittany Ferries operate on two routes from Plymouth - Roscoff in Northern France and Santander in Northern Spain. Taxis are available from the terminal in Millbay to DDRC or if driving take the A386 towards Tavistock (signposted from the centre of Plymouth). Follow signs to Derriford Hospital and airport along Tavistock Road.
