DDRC Trustees and Staff Members PDF Print E-mail

Although DDRC has a salaried staff, the volunteer, unpaid Trustees hold ultimate responsibility for the Charity and how it is run. We are indeed fortunate that the DDRC Trustees are extremely committed to the work we do, giving up their spare time to attend meetings, functions and deal with some of the business of the Charity which requires their sanction. Thank goodness for the internet, as emails can now take the place of some of the lengthy discussions and letter writing, but the work of the Trustees cannot be underestimated and without their commitment the Charity would not exist. The Trustees also visit the premises whenever possible, which means that they get to know staff, patients and students which is a great advantage.
Although the Charity can have up to 9 Trustees, the current complement is 6, so if you know of anyone who might be interested in becoming a Trustee please ask them to contact Karena Pring – DDRC Chief Executive at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it  in the first instance.
DDRC boasts a salaried staff of 28 which includes Doctors, Nurses, Engineers, Chamber Team, Researchers, Trainers, Technical, Finance, Administrative and Managerial staff.
DDRC also relies on its Bank Workers. This group is mainly made up of Chamber Team members but also comprises Nurses, Administrative and Technical workers. Our Bank Chamber Team is made up of people from all sorts of backgrounds – students, nurses, firemen, retired professionals etc.

Everyone who works for DDRC, in whatever capacity, is very important to us, and it is their passion and commitment to the work of the Charity which makes it a unique, special and extraordinary organisation.
